Human 3D Mini-Liver is a functional cellular device designed to accurately recapitulate human hepatic metabolism for high-fidelity in vitro evaluation.
Each spherical tissue, measuring approximately 1 mm in diameter, is constructed from human liver cells using bio 3D printing technology.
By using this product, it is possible to reliably predict the effects on the human liver (hepatotoxicity) and metabolic reactions occurring in the liver following the intake of substances such as drugs, cosmetics, and food additives.
This product leverages our bio 3D printing and three-dimensional tissue culture technologies, enabling us to provide a ready-to-use product that, despite being a cellular product, possesses uniform size and function.
This makes it possible for our customers to build highly reproducible evaluation systems with much greater ease compared to the conventional method of preparing for evaluation by carrying out two-dimensional cell culture of liver cells in-house. (For the purpose of research only)
